Charity

Who Are We?
Hi! We’re Veer (13) and Jiya (9), siblings from Chicago. We’ve been lucky to travel around the world with our family, seeing the beauty of different landscapes and learning from many cultures. Kenya, where our grandparents live, is especially close to our hearts. We've visited Kenya numerous times, and each trip has opened our eyes to something new and meaningful. During our most recent visits, we realized that many people in Kenya don't have access to the fundamental resources we sometimes take for granted like food, shelter, clothing, education, and basic healthcare . That didn’t sit right with us. So, we decided to do something about it.
Why We Started Braveheart?
We believe even small actions can can lead to big changes and that anyone, no matter their age, can make a difference. And so with the support of my grandfather and the local charity organizations e.g., Sainath Education Institute & Rotary Kenya, we founded Braveheart (literally the meaning of our names). Our goal is simple: to connect people who want to help with people who need help. Using our resources in the U.S. and the strong local partnerships in Kenya, we’re working to directly help underserved communities.
What We Want to Build?
We want to grow Braveheart into a platform that educates and inspires donors around the world to get connected to local charitable initiatives. By cutting out the bureaucracies of larger organization we ensure that you know exactly what impact your contributions are driving. Projects funded by Braveheart have thus far provided school supplies, blankets, job training, and healthcare (reusable sanitary pads) to those in need. Thanks for visiting us. We hope you’ll be a part of our journey.
